Equality = loss of relative power for white men


Out of 90 POTUS and VP, there have been 89 white guys. Equality would mean losing that grasp on power.

It’s not just politics, though. Look at any school rezoning that might move kids away from the rich school or put less well off kids in their school. And yes, that includes liberal cities like NYC. When the system is bucked to try and equal things out, the people who had been getting the advantage aren’t real fans of that.
